ParlAmericas organizes capacity building workshops closely aligned with issues of current hemispheric importance and with skills identified by parliamentarians as essential to carrying out their responsibilities.

These capacity building opportunities have offered participants the chance to delve into these issues with experts from renowned organizations, such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and the World Trade Association, among others. At our workshops participants also share best practices and develop plans of action.

To date, our workshops have centred around topics concerning budget oversight, trade, and extractive industries.
