In fulfillment of official mandates received at the III Summit of the Americas in Quebec City, Canada (2001), VIII Summit of the Americas in Lima, Peru (2019), and the IX Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, USA (2022), ParlAmericas has been the hemispheric vehicle that facilitates engagement by parliamentarians in the Summit process. ParlAmericas also issues and distributes reports, and assembles parliamentarians in adopting declarations on the themes of each Summit agenda.
